SiBee Records is a progressive UK Record Company founded in 2007 with a sole purpose to meet the demands of modern business in the service and hospitality sectors.
If you are a business that plays music for the benefit of your staff or customers you will have been burdened with expensive PRS and PPL license fees.
SiBee Records has been developed to create an alternative.
We offer a catalogue of suitable PRS and PPL avoidance music, brought together from around the world with regular updates and additions, maintaining relevance and a fresh feel good ambiance for customers and staff alike.

That is exactly what it means. SiBee Records has full legal authority to issue you with a license for the public playing of music supplied from our catalogue.
And......Because you have paid the PRS & PPL in advance rather than arrears, when you switch to SiBee Records you may be due a proportional refund in respect of the unused period no longer needed!
For as long as you are playing only SiBee Records music you will not have to pay a penny to the PRS or PPL

How much does it cost?
Here's the great bit.... For new customers purchasing 5 CD's/50 mp3 tracks or more, their SiBee license is COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE for the first 12 months and then only £51.20 per year thereafter.
There is of course no obligation for new customers to buy 5 CD's or more, Customers wishing to buy 1-4 CD's simply pay the license fee for the first year.
There are no hidden costs. We also like to keep things simple. So, no matter what the size of your business premises, or how often or how long you play the music for, the SiBee license cost is the same at just £51.20 per year.
We will send you your license and your music normally on the day you order.
After you have purchased your music and received your license, you are under no obligation to buy any further music or indeed to renew your license with us after it's expiry. You can revert back to the PRS and PPL at any time.
If you do add to your music collection, all purchases from SiBee are automatically covered by your license for public performance.

How do I switch from PRS/PPL to SiBee records?
Switching from the PRS/PPL to SiBee is very easy. Choose from 3 options:

Option 1
You select the best music for your business.
Peruse our catalogue of music. Click on any album cover to listen to that CD.
You can select from our individual artist albums, compilation albums and great value multi packs. We recommend that new customers start their collection by selecting a 5 or 10CD great value multi pack (click here). If you decide to purchase less than 5 albums you need to add the 'new customer license' to your shopping cart also. The license is free for the first year if you start your collection with 5 or more albums.
3 Easy steps

Step 1 - Listen to our music and add your selected albums or multi pack to your shopping cart. Remember, if you select less than 5 albums you also need to add the 'new customer license at £49.95' to your shopping cart. The license is free for the first year if you start your collection with 5 or more albums. In this case add the 'free license' option to your shopping cart. Please note there is a small charge for P & P as your license is sent separate to your music in a card backed C4 envelope.

Step 2 - Proceed to checkout, complete your business information where requested, and make payment.

Step 3 - Leave the rest to us. Once you have purchased your music we will send you your CD's along with your complete ‘SiBee Records New Customer Welcome Pack’. (See below)

We have carefully chosen all our artists and know our music collection very well, so we are in a good position to save you time by selecting the music which would best suit your business.

N.B. If you dislike any CD we have selected for your business, you can return this within 14 days for free replacement with any CD of your choice.

SiBee Records New Customer Welcome Pack
Once you have made your music purchase, we will dispatch your CD's along with our new customer welcome pack.
This includes:
- Your music albums. These are highest quality production CD's in standard jewel case, with full colour printed insert and inlay. Cello shrink wrapped to finish.
- SiBee Records music license certificate. This is your official certificate which is designed for public display.
- 3 copies of your SiBee Records music license. One copy is for your records, one is a copy for the PRS and one for PPL.
- 2 personalised letters. We create 2 personalised letters for your business (With a copy of each for your file). One addressed to the PRS and one addressed to PPL. You can forward these along with a copy of your SiBee music license in order to make them aware that you are now only using music supplied by SiBee Records.
- A receipted invoice for your business records.
As a SiBee Records music customer you can return to the website at any time in order to add more music to your collection. We are adding around one new album a week with varying styles and genres.
Any additional music purchased at a later date is automatically covered by your SiBee license for public playing.
